Man critically hurt after being stabbed outside Central Fresno gas station

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for the man accused of stabbing another person Sunday night in central Fresno.

The attack happened at the Shell gas station near Blackstone and Dakota Avenues around 8:30 p.m. According to witnesses, two men were apparently digging through trash when one began stabbing the other before taking off.

The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center and is believed to be in critical condition.

Officers are now waiting to talk to him to possibly get a better description of the suspect.
