Man found shot at Palm and Olive

A shooting victim was found sitting in his car at a Circle-K gas station parking lot in Central Fresno around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say the man, in his 40's, was shot once in the back and tried to drive himself to the hospital. But once he started feeling the effects of his injuries, he pulled over at the gas station and called 911.

Police say he was shot through the rear driver's side door and was conscious when he was transported to the hospital.

Police are also looking for a motive or suspects in this case.
