FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Sanger man is facing charges after police say he broke in to a Clovis home and got stuck while hiding from officers.

Alert neighbors called Clovis Police to Elm near First Street a little after 3 p.m. on Monday after they saw someone enter a home while the homeowner was away. When police arrived they tried calling the suspect outside, but instead he hid in the attic where he got stuck.

Authorities say 28-year-old George Bruhin hid for nearly 3-hours before they called in a K9 officer to find him. Once in custody, Bruhin was taken to the hospital for dehydration. He's being charged with burglary and violating his parole.
