Man injured in West Central Fresno Shooting

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The incident happened at the Golden Garden Apartments just after midnight.

Police say the victim was helping his girlfriend move when the suspect walked up and started firing at him.

The man was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his stomach area. Witnesses say the shooter had several tattoos on his arms and may have been driving a red four door vehicle. It is unknown if the shooting was related to drugs or gangs.

The victim was listed in critical condition.
