Man killed in Fresno County crash identified

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Family members have identified the victim of a deadly crash in Fresno County. They say 19-year-old Allen Garcia is the young man who died after being ejected into a tree Friday night.

The crash happened at Minnewawa Avenue and Tulare Street. The California Highway Patrol says the driver of one car was speeding and possibly drunk, when it ran through a stop sign and hit the other car.

Five people were injured in the collision, but their names have not yet been released.

A vigil was held for Garcia at the crash site Saturday night.
