Man killed in suspected DUI crash in Fresno County identified

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities have identified the victim killed in a crash in Fresno County over the weekend. It happened on Piedra Road near Highway 180 Saturday afternoon.

Jose Ortiz, 22, was a passenger in the truck. He was killed after it drifted off the pavement and hit a tree.

The man driving the truck, Augustin Zeferino, 35, has been charged with DUI. He suffered only minor injuries. Responders found alcohol in the car.
