Mariposa County remembers lives lost on September 11th

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Many events took place across the Central Valley on Friday to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11.

In Mariposa County, there was a special bell ringing ceremony at Mariposa Arts Park. Friday's service also included an emotional raising of the American flag.

A permanent memorial at the park includes an I-beam from New York's north twin tower that collapsed on Sept. 11, 2001.
