Merced PD surprises boys with new skateboards

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Merced Police Department came to the aid of two young crime victims.

The boys had their skateboards stolen last week.

Officer Edwin Arias took the report and then reached out to the Volunteers in Police Services, also known as VIP's for help.

They were able to get two replacement skateboards, and, Saturday, Officer Arias and volunteer Arnulfo Centeno surprised the boys with their new rides.
