More evacuations lifted as crews gain 30% containment on Detwiler Fire

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Additional evacuation orders have been lifted as firefighters gain 30% containment on the Detwiler Fire burning in Mariposa County Saturday.

Evacuations orders for French Camp Road, Fournier Road, Mykleoaks Road, West Whitelock from Highway 49 North to Whitlock Gap and Highway 140 from Hornitors Road to Elizabeth lane have all been lifted as of 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

All evacuation orders on Highway 140 between Elizabeth Lane to approximately one mile west of the town of Mariposa, remain in place.
