MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A fatal accident closed Highway 41 in both directions Thursday afternoon. The crash happened around 3 p.m. near Serpa Canyon Road in Madera County.
The California Highway Patrol says traffic was slowing down, and a motorcyclist crashed into the back of another vehicle, was ejected and died. The road was closed for about an hour while the wreckage was moved.
There's no word on the identity of the person who was killed.
