Motorcyclist dies after crashing into SUV near Friant

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash near Friant.

Officers say a motorcycle was heading west on Millerton Road near Winchell Cove Road around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. For some reason, the driver drifted across the lanes into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with a black Escalade.

The motorcyclist was killed. He has only been identified as a man in his 20s.

The two people in the SUV were not hurt.
