Neighbors bring Christmas cheer to SkyLife crash victim's family

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Neighbors tried to brighten the holidays for two children who lost their father in last week's SkyLife crash.

The group put up Christmas decorations Saturday at the home of Kyle Juarez in northeast Fresno. He was the paramedic who died, along with two other crew members and a patient, when their helicopter went down in Kern County.

Friends say one of Juarez's children is in preschool while the other is in kindergarten. "There's two small kids over there who need some Christmas cheer," neighbor Aaron Ensminger said. "So, as neighbors, we brought it."

Neighbors say several local businesses also helped by donating money, decorations and food.
