Northwest Fresno drive-by shooting leaves man dead

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are investigating a homicide in Northwest Fresno. The deadly shooting happened just after 6 p.m. Sunday on Barstow Avenue near Marks Avenue.

Fresno police say someone drove by in a silver car and opened fire on a man in his 20s who was sitting in his vehicle. The victim was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died. His name has not been released.

Neighbors say the man had been at a soccer game in the area before he was shot.
