One killed one injured in shooting near Bakersfield medical marijuana dispensary

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KFSN) -- An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting near a medical marijuana dispensary in Bakersfield.

The Kern County Sheriff's Department said two people were shot around 2 a.m. Tuesday just a few feet from the Mars Collective Medical Marijuana Shop. A man was killed and a woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The suspect ran from the scene and it is not known what led to the shooting

At this time no arrests have been made.
