One person dead after a shooting in Orange Cove

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities in Orange Cove say one person is dead after a shooting near 8th and South Avenue.

Orange Cove police were called to the area a little after 9 p.m. Wednesday to reports of gunfire in the area. They found a man lying in a driveway suffering from several gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

Orange Cove Police called Fresno County Sheriff Deputies in to investigate the murder. They are now questioning several witnesses who were near the scene at the time of the shooting.
