FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The attacks in Paris are also raising concerns for the agriculture industry around the world including here in California.

One valley expert expects growers to face increased security and requirements on produce being shipped to France and other countries. He says it could cause additional delays for getting those products to their final destination. Shipments coming into the US may also be under closer scrutiny.

"We're going to be a little bit more cautious now, and I think so are the other countries, one of my growers deals with, I think, 60 countries, and that's a lot. And knowing they're going to start getting information and bulletins, USDA, trade, so it's going to give us some challenges," said Manuel Cunha, Nisei Farmers League President.

Cunha says he's also concerned about the impact the Paris attacks could have on immigration reform efforts in the US.
