Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Cutler

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A pedestrian is still in the hospital after being hit by an SUV Sunday night.

The accident happened just after 8 p.m. in front of the Cutler Food Mart off Highway 63 and Avenue 403. Firefighters say the victim was unresponsive at the scene.

There is no word yet on how the crash happened or if the driver could face charges.
