FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The 144th Fighter Wing of California's Air National Guard dedicated one of its F-15 Eagles to the city of Reedley on Tuesday. The dedication, which took place at the Fresno Air National Guard Base, is part of their Cities of Honor program.

"The Cities of Honor program helps the 144th Fighter Wing reinforce the connection with the local community that our Airmen work and live in," said Col. Clay Garrison, 144th Fighter Wing commander. "The ceremony is our way to say thank you for all the support the city gives us."

Reedley Mayor Ray Soleno, Council Members Robert Beck, Henry Rodriguez, Mary Fast and other distinguished guests attended the event to assist with the unveiling of the aircraft.

With each dedication, an F-15 Eagle dons new nose art in the form of that city's crest.
