Police investigate double shooting in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An investigation is underway after two people were shot in Central Fresno. It happened just before 8 p.m. Monday near Clark Street and Pontiac Way.

Fresno police say two men approached the victims on foot, opened fire, and then ran away, possibly getting into a car.

One victim is believed to be in his 20s and the other in his 40s. Both were taken to the hospital. One of them was last listed in critical condition.

There is no description of the suspects.
