Suspects sought in Queens shooting
A 16-year-old was shot in the head at the exact same location his brother was murdered

ROCKAWAY -- A 16-year-old boy was shot and critically wounded Sunday night in Queens, at the exact same location where his brother was murdered two years ago.

LeShawn Plummer was shot in the head just before 9 p.m. at the corner of Seagirt Avenue and Beach 26 Street in Rockaway, and the NYPD has released video of the suspects fleeing the scene.

Shawn Plummer, then 18, was fatally shot on the same corner on July 13, 2012, in a murder that remains under investigation and unsolved.

Authorities say LeShawn has no known gang affiliations, and the investigation into his shooting is ongoing.

EMS responded to the scene and transported him to Long Island Jewish Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
