Roads back open after gas leak in Northwest Fresno
All roads are back open after crews capped a gas leak at Ashlan and Golden State in Northwest Fresno.

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- All roads are back open after crews capped a gas leak at Ashlan and Golden State in Northwest Fresno.

The off-ramp from northbound Highway 99 to Ashlan Avenue and the Ashlan Avenue overpass were closed Thursday morning while Fresno Fire Department and PG&E crews worked to stop the leak.

The off-ramp from northbound Highway 99 to Ashlan Avenue is closed.

The gas line was hit when high speed rail crews were drilling in the area. The Fresno Fire Department said the gas line was struck about 30 feet below ground.
