Roosevelt High student arrested for bringing replica gun on campus

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police arrested a Roosevelt High School student Friday for bringing a fake gun onto campus.

Fresno Police said the 14-year-old student brought the gun on campus and tried to sell it to other students. One student became frightened and told school staff, who then called police.

The gun closely resembles a .357 Magnum revolver. Police say this is the second time this week a student has brought a weapon on campus.

On Monday, Roosevelt staff found a BB gun inside a student's car.

That case is under investigation.
