San Francisco man being attacked in his own garage caught on video

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Dramatic video out of San Francisco shows a man being attacked inside his own garage, but the victim fought back and turned the tables on the suspect.

YouTube video shows the struggle lasting for several minutes. In the end, the victim, Bill Oxidean, was able to pry the gun out of the attacker's hands. He ran out of his garage and even aimed the gun at the suspect, but couldn't shoot.

"I wanted to get a safe distance, and I drew down on him and the weapon was jammed unfortunately," said Oxidean.

A police spokesman said there was also no clip in the gun.

They are looking for the suspect who wore a grey hooded sweatshirt.

Neighbors say there have been several garage burglaries the area over the last few weeks.
