FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A school bus has been involved in an accident near Browning and Palm in Northwest Fresno.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) said it appears a car was making a U-turn, and turned directly into the path of the bus.

The bus was carrying students to Tenaya Middle School in the area and was full of students at the time of the crash. The Fresno Unified School District said 12 students complained of minor injuries, but none of them were taken to the hospital. However, four of the students were picked up by their parents.

The rest of the students were loaded into another bus to be taken to school and evaluated, according the CHP.

Action News has a crew on the scene and will provide further details as they become available.
