Selma couple donates coats to refugees

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Selma couple donated twenty coats Sunday to refugees who live in central Fresno.

Jessica and Romulo Rodriguez have been collecting the coats in honor of their late son James who died suddenly this summer. His last purchase was a jacket for someone in need.

When the couple saw that hundreds of people at the Summerset Village apartments have been without heat for eleven days, they stepped in.

The gas was shut off last week due to a leakage problem that has yet to be fixed.
