SELMA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Selma family is suing their school district after, they said, it let a 14-year-old special needs student be subjected to sexual assault and bullying.

The boy was a student at Abraham Lincoln Middle School last year when he was bullied, sexually assaulted, molested, and raped by another student. The lawsuit claims it all happened in the boy's locker room during school hours. It said school staff was notified but never investigated and did not properly monitor the kids.

We called the school district, which said they have not received the lawsuit yet and denied the claim for damages.
