Shooting in Atwater leaves one man dead

ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- Atwater police are investigating a deadly shooting in Merced County.

It happened near Elm and Park Avenue near the Atwater Memorial Ball Park. Investigators found an adult man with several gunshot wounds. He was flown to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.

The victim was identified by family members as Richard Valentine.

Police are now looking for three possible suspects who were last seen driving away in a white car.
