FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating a shooting in West Central Fresno that left a man in critical condition.

Investigators say a man in his thirties was shot behind the O'Reilly's Auto Parts store at Clinton and Marks around 9:30 p.m. Monday. They say he was hit twice in the neck and the hand.

Detectives are trying to figure out what led up to the violence. "It was some sort of argument that transpired... pulled out a gun and shot multiple times at the victim," said Mike Doyle, Fresno Police Department.

Police are now searching for the suspect and talking to witnesses to get a better idea of who it might be.
