FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A student who believes she was secretly recorded while changing at school is now suing a local high school band teacher and her school district.
Steven Montes -- the band director at Riverdale High School -- was arrested last year. Investigators say he told female band students to try on uniforms, then recorded them. He's facing three federal charges of producing child pornography.
The Riverdale superintendent says Montes quit as soon as the investigation began. But the student's lawsuit says the district never should have allowed her to be exposed to such a crime.
