Teen dies after being found shot in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- According to police, a teenager was found shot multiple times at Lorena Avenue and Weller Avenue in Southwest Fresno.

Police said they received a call around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday about a shooting and when they arrived on scene, they found a male about 15 to 16-years-old who had been shot multiple times.

The teen was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

Police are still trying to figure out a motive.

Investigators have received information a black vehicle was seen with black rims was seen leaving the area after the shooting.
