FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A lot of valley teenagers got a head start on summer jobs Saturday.

Teens came dressed in their Sunday best on Saturday for a youth job fair at Manchester Center. It's a Chamber of Commerce event designed to get hard-working kids into entry level jobs.

"The business and education committee at the chamber is made up of groups that serve young people through a variety of educational institutions and we want to plug them in with local employers and hopefully give them some job opportunities," Lori Morton with the Fresno Chamber of Commerce said.

Several businesses came ready to hire kids on the spot including Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and some retail stores.
