Tickets on sale for Clovis Rodeo

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- While many of us may still be getting used to a new year and putting away the last of the Christmas decorations, the planners of the Clovis Rodeo are ready to go.

The ticket office opened at 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning and organizers say there was a steady flow of people buying tickets for the 2016 Clovis Rodeo.

"If you wait long enough you might have a hard time finding a seat," said Ron Dunbar with the Clovis Rodeo Board of Directors. "I mean the good seats go early, but there's really not a bad seat in this house but the better seats go quicker."

The ticket office at the rodeo grounds won't open again for sales until February 29. But you can purchase them right now on their website.

This year, the Clovis Rodeo begins Thursday, April 21.
