Update: Missing Fresno man found dead at Balch Camp

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Family members tell Action News that a Fresno man who was reported missing has been found dead in Fresno County.

Fresno police said that 59-year-old Rodney Kemp visited his daughter last weekend and spoke with her Wednesday, but authorities found his car, abandoned, at Balch Camp the following day.

Relatives said Sunday night that his body was found earlier that day near the area where his car had been.

It's not clear how he died.

The Fresno Sheriff's Office confirms a body was found in that location, but authorities will wait for the coroner's office to confirm the identity.
