MILLIKEN, Colo. -- A sign outside a Hispanic-owned barbecue business in Colorado is advertising a "White Appreciation Day."
It started as a joke, but now it's a real event on the restaurant's calendar.
The owner of the restaurant plans to give all Caucasian customers a 10 percent discount on June 11.
He created "White Appreciation Day" in response to Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month - in order to celebrate all Americans.
However critics say it's wrong to give one group a discount, and there could also be legal repercussions.
Federal officials could investigate the Colorado restaurant if a discrimination complaint is filed.
