MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters put out a half-acre flare-up Sunday at the site of a month-old wildfire in Madera County.

A helicopter dropped buckets of water from Bass Lake onto the Willow Fire area just over the ridge. Fire officials say they also responded with an engine and a hand crew to put out the flames.

The Willow Fire burned nearly 6,000 acres and was contained in August. Investigators say a 13-year-old boy sparked the blaze and is now facing felony charges.
