Woman found laying in road after being hit and killed by a car near Atwater

ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- CHP received a call about a woman laying face down in the road near Ashby Road and Trinidade near Atwater.

Investigators said the woman was hit and killed by a car traveling eastbound.

The victim is a 21-year-old from Merced.

At this point, there have been no arrests.
