FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Obama administration said it will appeal the latest immigration ruling.

Earlier this week, a Texas judge's ruling slapped an injunction on President Barack Obama's plans. The injection effectively freezes the immigration system, and allows the court to hear arguments from 26 states that Obama's plan violates federal law.

President Obama's program intended to shield millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation.
