One person shot in Merced, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Merced police are investigating after one person was shot Tuesday evening.

It happened in the area of east 9th and D streets at around 5:30 p.m.

Officials say the person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Information regarding a possible suspect was not immediately available.
