OXNARD, Calif. -- Prosecutors say no charges will be immediately filed against the truck driver involved in the crash that derailed a California commuter train, injuring dozens.

Ventura County District Attorney Gregory D. Totten said in a statement that no charges will be filed Thursday against 54-year-old Jose Alejandro Sanchez-Ramirez of Yuma, Arizona.

The district attorney says the investigation is complex and involves many agencies.

Sanchez-Ramirez was the driver of a large pickup truck towing a trailer that ended up on tracks northwest of Los Angeles before dawn Tuesday. He was arrested at that time for investigation of leaving the scene of an injury accident.
