A portion of Highway 180 in Fresno is back open to drivers following a deadly hit and run crash involving a pedestrian.
The crash happened around 8:30 Saturday night and shut down the westbound lanes of the 180 just past Cedar.
The California Highway Patrol says a man they believe was homeless was trying to cross the highway when a pickup truck hit him and kept driving.
Officials say at least five other cars also hit the man.
Those drivers did pull over and waited for officers to arrive.
The CHP believes the man was in his 50's or 60's and they're still working to identify him.
The highway reopened to drivers shortly after 11 Saturday night.
