5 fox puppies found near Fresno's Chandler Airfield

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A military sergeant stumbled upon a box of fox puppies near the Chandler Airfield in Southwest Fresno on Friday.

A total of five little foxes were taken in by the SPCA. They say they can't be sure but they look like the San Joaquin kit fox, which is listed as an endangered animal.

Animal experts say they plan to rehabilitate the fox puppies and send them back into the wild.
