College teacher finds kittens stuck in her car

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Clovis Community College teacher thought she ran into some car troubles on her way to lunch but eventually made a surprising, but adorable discovery.

Rebecca Crescenti heard the sounds of kittens meowing as she drove. So when she made it to her final destination in Clovis she called AAA, who in turn called the Fresno Fire Department. Three members with Engine 13 arrived and worked very carefully after discovering four kittens stuck up against the engine. It took about an hour to get them all out safely.

Crescenti named one Marley because he has the biggest personality and seemed like the leader of the pack.

For now she has taken the four kitties home. She is now working to find permanent homes for the little ones. null
