FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Visitors to Fresno's Chaffee Zoo are getting a more intimate look at some of the animals.
Sunday kicked off the zoo's Close Encounters of the Wild Kind program. Guests got the chance to go behind the scenes and interact with the sea lions.
Zookeepers helped visitors learn more about the animals and how to train them -- even getting the sea lions to offer hugs and kisses.
Each Sunday visitors can check out a new animal as part of the program -- including a kangaroo and the Galapagos tortoise.
