Summer camp for young animal lovers

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This summer many parents are trying to find activities to keep their little ones busy.

This week campers are learning all about wildlife and meeting some exciting special guests. There are still two weeks of camp available in July. The first is 'Meet the Breeds' where kids will learn about different dog and cat breeds. The other is an 'Intro to 4H' for the little ones, where they'll learn to care for farm animals.

The Valley Animal Center is one of the largest no kill dog and cat animal adoption centers in the Valley and it's run strictly on donations.

July 24 - 28 (ages 8 - 12) Meet The Breeds - exploring the varieties of dog and cat breeds

July 31 - August 4th Learning and Caring for Farm Animals (ages 5 - 8)
