Police increase DUI patrols over Super Bowl weekend
Super Bowl festivities for the most watched game of the year are coming to an end but the DUI patrols continue throughout the Valley.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Super Bowl festivities for the most watched game of the year are coming to an end but the DUI patrols continue throughout the Valley.

Officers are working to make sure people are getting home in one piece. Action News went for a ride along with officers to see what police are looking for.

Officers say common indicators of drivers under the influence include: weaving, delayed response and forgetting to turn their lights on.

The legalization of marijuana could bring new risks but drivers say they do not expect to see a surge in DUI numbers.

Officers say that much like an alcohol-related sobriety test there are key traits to look out for.
