Police searching for suspects after shooting in Southeast Fresno leaves one man injured
Police are looking for the suspects involved in an early morning shooting in Southeast Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are looking for the suspects involved in an early morning shooting in Southeast Fresno. It happened around 2:00 a.m. in the area of Kings Canyon and Peach.

Officers said a man was walking along the sidewalk when he was approached by a few individuals. They said a possible robbery occurred, then the suspects shot the man.

A woman and a bystander helped take the victim to Community Regional Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.

"The female actually knew the victim. She ran over and grabbed another random person, they loaded up this person in the car and those citizens got him to the hospital," said Lt. Carl McKnight of the Fresno Police Department.

Police are looking for two to three people they say are suspects in the shooting.
