As the Republican delegates arrive back home, the Democratic delegates are packing their bags for their turn.

"I know I have to leave at 6 a.m. tomorrow, I haven't even thought about packing," Democratic delegate Judy Lund-Bell said.

Lund-Bell is a Fresno family law specialist but next week she's wearing a different hat as DNC delegate.

"This is my first time, and it's kind of like, this is history," she said. "This is historical. "It's really exciting. It's something I never thought I would do in my life."

For attorney Tony Capozzi, this will be his third convention. He knows how busy they'll be, so he's going in with a game plan.

"There are so many parties going on, so many caucuses meeting, discussing issues, really, I want to concentrate on what's going on the convention floor," he said. "I want to be there when it opens every day and when it closes every day."

Of course, nominating Hillary Clinton will be the focus as the party makes it official.

"To have a woman, be our nominee for president and hopefully be the president, the first woman president," Lund-Bell said. "It's a really big thing."

"It's going to be a tough election," Capozzi said. "It's not a sure thing for secretary Clinton. This may be closer than what people think."

That's why he says it's so important for them to be there despite all the logistics they have to figure out once they arrive.

"I know I have to be at breakfast at 8 a.m. every morning," Lund-Bell said. "Which is like 5 a.m. California time, which is going to be interesting. I think I'm going to be kind of tired by the end of the week."

Fun is also to be had with a special Lady Gaga concert planned on the final day.

"Are you going to Gaga's concert?" an Action News reporter asked Capozzi.

"I plan on being there," he replied.
