Local delegate discusses political tensions on eve of Democratic National Convention
She said the revelations about Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her resignation is creating tension between Bernie and Hillary delegates.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A local delegate who just arrived in Philadelphia said the DNC email scandal is the focus of conversation.

Judy Lund-Bell is a first-time delegate who supports Hillary Clinton.

She said the revelations about Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her resignation is creating tension between Bernie and Hillary delegates.

"There were always Bernie supporters that were reluctant to support Hillary," she said. "I think Bernie could have brought them on board possibly but now it's going to be way more difficult. So, I think the rift has deepened because of this."

Tonight, the California delegation will meet and Lund-Bell said that's where she'll learn more about this week's itinerary.

In addition to the email scandal, another concern is security.

Lund-Bell says some nearby roads are shut down to large trucks and there are officers on every corner in the city.
