2 killed in car crash in Porterville, CHP says

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two people died in a Porterville crash Tuesday night.

Investigators say the wreck happened just before 9:30 pm near Avenue 204 and Road 232.

A Toyota Avalon rolled through a stop sign and was hit by oncoming traffic.

A man and woman in the Toyota died from their injuries.

Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in this crash.
