Pre-evacuation ordered issued for Putney Place area in North Fork

NORTH FORK, Calif. (KFSN) -- A pre-evacuation order has been issued for the Putney Place area in North Fork.

The Madera County Sheriff's Office is asking residents to monitor the situation and to be prepared to evacuate. If you are in need of assistance call 911.

Cal Fire officials said there are two roadside fires in the area. No other information was immediately available.

An evacuation center has not yet been established.
